Coach Isaac Eichmann

Coach Isaac Eichmann is a 2012 Hastings High School graduate. In high school, he was All-Conference 4t times and All-State 2 times, taking 2nd both time.  He was also a team captain during his senior year and lead the team to a 4th place. After high school, he wrestled for RCTC but had to cut his time short due to injuries.

Coach Isaac has been coaching for 7 years total. Three of those years were coaching youth and Freestyle/Greco with Lake City, three years doing Freestyle/Greco in Byron, and is entering his first year with Hastings High School.

Isaac said he wanted to coach in Hastings because, "I was raised in the Hastings wrestling community and I have always wanted to give back everything that I can."

What he loves most about the program is the people and town. He said, "It has been years since I have been able to walk around the town I live in and overhear people talking about wrestling as a common topic. This town cares and I love it."

His favorite memory of Hastings wrestling has been every moment. There's nothing better.

What excites him most about the future is the opportunity to take a shot at another state title. He wanted to get back to coaching last year but couldn't find the time and said what the team did was amazing. He wants to bring that back to this town again and again.

Isaac has been married for 5 years and has two girls and one boy.
