Coach Andy Trembath

Andy Trembath was born in Grand Rapids and eventually moved to Hastings. During high school, he was a part of two state qualifying teams, was a two-time state entrant, and a one time state place winner. Andy was also a member of the Storm cadet and junior teams for Fargo. His coaching career began at Prior Lake where he spent two seasons, then one year at the Hastings Middle School, and finally he is entering his sixth season at Hastings HS. Andy wanted to come back to Hastings and coach because he is an alumni, loves the Hastings wrestling community, and wanted to give back to it. His favorite thing about coaching in Hastings is the culture and community that surrounds wrestling. Andy’s favorite moment in his coaching career was when Luke Chamberlain pinned the Eagan heavyweight to win the section title. In the future he is most excited to watch his sons, who are in the youth program, grow up and continue to develop their wrestling skills in the same community and sport that has taught him so much. Andy has been married for 10 years and has  4 children. Clayton (7), Calvin (5), Cassidy (2) & Cooper (2).
